Leadline & First Ride Lesson Pony
Shade
Meet Shade, our wise and gentle gelding. Shade is a senior horse who has taught countless riders the ropes, but these days he takes it slow with only walk-along lessons. He loves being brushed, enjoys sunshine naps, and is always patient with kids who are learning. Shade shows us that even when a horse can’t run fast anymore, they can still have an important job — teaching kindness and confidence.

W/T/C Novice Lesson Horse
Flash
Flash used to be quick on his feet, and he still struts like he’s the star of the show. These days he takes things slower, but he’s wonderful for confident beginner riders and lead-line walks. Flash is always ready for a job and loves to teach his riders to be firm and confident. He loves eating his diet bowl of hay cubes and grain every morning.

Rescue Horse
Phillip
Phil’s story is one of courage. He came to us as a rescue horse who was very scared of people. With time, patience, and love, Phil has learned to trust again. While he doesn’t take part in riding programs, he is an important part of our barn family and teaches everyone about compassion, respect, and second chances. Phil’s favorite thing is spending time with his best horsey friends and munching on hay in peace.

W/T/C Novice Lesson Horse
Davis
Big, bold, and built for hugs! Davis is a draft-type horse who loves working with both adults and kids. Even though he’s tall, he has a soft heart and goes carefully with his riders. He especially likes trotting proudly and standing tall for pictures (he thinks he’s very handsome).

In Training
Cowboy
Cowboy is our curious young stallion who’s still learning all about the world. He has a big personality and loves to show off with a playful side or a happy snort. Cowboy dreams of one day being a superstar in the arena, but for now he’s busy growing up strong and learning his manners. His favorite thing is splashing in water buckets and reaching from his stall for pets. Cowboy reminds us that every horse has a bright future ahead of them!

Liberty, Ground Handling & Grooming Pony
Oliver
Oliver is the barn’s trickster! He’s clever, quick, and always figuring out what people are up to. He’s knows how to pull a cart and lots of liberty work, and he LOVES when kids come up with fun games to play. Oliver’s favorite pastime? Sneaking a bite of grass while walking out to his pasture.

Moon may be little, but she has big dreams! This pony shines under the spotlight of lead-line rides, especially when kids are ready to build some confidence. Moon is a little shy, and takes a moment to warm up sometimes. She is learning to love kids and becoming more confident herself. Her favorite snack is sweet apple sauce.

Broodmare, with Foal
Fancy
Fancy is our elegant mare with the softest eyes and the sweetest heart. She moves with grace, whether she’s walking slowly with little riders or trotting like she’s floating. Fancy loves being brushed until she shines, and she always looks like she’s ready for a photoshoot. Her favorite thing is wearing her pretty boots and showing off her fancy trot in the arena. She reminds us that being gentle and graceful can still be strong and powerful! She is currently has a little baby in her belly and we cannot wait for it to arrive in the spring!

Beginner Lesson Horse
Cactus
Don’t let her prickly name fool you — Cactus is a sweetheart! She’s a strong Quarter Horse who helps our riders learn to trot and sometimes even lope. She’s curious about everything and always wants to know what’s going on around the barn. Her favorite thing is when kids bring her crunchy carrots after a good ride.
