Service Description
Pony Pen Pals is more than just a few barn visits — it’s a magical, hands-on experience where kids connect with ponies through love, learning, and laughter. Designed with children in mind, our program invites young animal lovers to build confidence, responsibility, and imagination through 4 weekly visits to meet their very own “pen pal pony.” Each session includes guided grooming time, pony-themed activities, and plenty of photo-worthy moments. Children will learn how to safely brush, bond, and care for a pony — all while developing a special relationship with their equine friend. They even get some time to ride! 💌 What’s Included – Weekly 45-minute barn visits with our ponies – Learn grooming, horse care, and basic safety – Pony story time, fun facts, crafts or activity sheets – Collectible “letters” or keepsakes from your Pen Pal Pony – Seasonal photo ops (think unicorn day, cowboy dress-up, etc.) – Optional snack and gift add ons – Reply letter sent weekly in the mail 🐴 Our Ponies Gentle, calm, and adored by kids — our ponies and horses are hand-selected for their sweet temperaments and patient personalities. They love attention, being brushed, and having their manes braided by little hands. Many of them have “retired” from busy show lives and now thrive in this slower, love-filled program. 👶 Perfect For – First-time horse lovers – Kids aged 3 to 10 – Those not ready to ride but eager to interact – Homeschoolers looking for a farm-based learning activity – Gift from a Grandparent or seasonal outings 📫 Why “Pen Pal”? Every child receives letters “from their pony"(we send an email version as well), sharing stories from the barn, teaching horse facts, or offering silly updates (like who get more treats that day). These letters help extend the connection between visits and make every child feel like their pony is writing just to them. 🌟 Build Confidence, Kindness & Curiosity Kids don’t just learn about horses — they learn about empathy, patience, and the joy of unplugged, real-world experiences. It’s farm magic, in small hands. 📍 Located at Clover Equestrian Co., our facility is safe, peaceful, and filled with charm — a space where childhood memories are made and muddy boots are always welcome.
